It has already been 15 years since company ELKO EP, s.r.o. was founded.ELKO EP, s.r.o. was founded in 1993 by a contemporary sole owner and General Manager Mr. Jiří Konečný.

Starting point for foundation of our company was his great interest in electronics and his first product – switching unit for electrical heating switching and regulation. Those days there was a boom for electrical heating but this had faded out gradually. Therefore the company aimed its interest in the field of electronic modular devices. In that time, there was no other Czech company which would be producing these products to such extend and most products were imported from abroad. It was a real challenge and an opportunity to start walking in the right direction.

Mr. Konečny´s company started as a family manufacture and in the course of the years it has developed into a dynamically developing modern company with its top production facilities and good-quality development center.
