Wireless blinds control

Wireless blinds control

RFJA-32B-SL It turns your blind switch into a modern system solution for controlling various types of blinds and blinds, projection screens, skylights, and even windows in the greenhouse.

How does a classic shutter switch work? It depends on its specific type:

  1. The push-button blind controller works in such a way that the roller blind is retracted or extended by holding down the relevant button. If you release the button, the blind will remain at the point at which it stopped. If you need the blind to go all the way, you have to stand by the switch and hold it like crazy.
  2. A Venetian-type shutter switch, by pressing you activate the operation of the shutter in a certain direction and stop it by pressing it again and again. If the blind has reached its final state, you must then unlock the button manually to be able to start the blind again, as in this way blocking is guaranteed against simultaneous pressing and damage to the blind.

Both of these control methods are inconvenient for the user and they are very difficult to work with if you just want to turn the blinds, for example.

That is why we have developed the RFJA-32B-SL blind switch element within our iNELS Wireless system, which is simply installed under the existing blind switch, and which greatly simplifies such control.

The shutter switch then works in such a way that with a long press, the shutter will reach its final position, while with a short press, the shutter will only turn and let the light in. With a short press, you can also stop the rolling shutter at any time.

The switch element for blinds is designed in such a way that you can set the automatic stop of the blind with a time delay, so it can also be used for blinds without a limit switch or for very long blinds that need up to 4 minutes to fully open or close. Preventing the accidental start of both directions at the same time using electronic blocking is a matter of course with our element.

Function of the switch element for blinds within the wireless system

We developed the shutter element to work within the entire iNELS Wireless system. What benefits does this symbiosis bring to the user?

First of all, it is possible to control the blind element not only with classic buttons but also with the help of wireless switches and key fobs. For example, you can add another controller to the installation and control the blinds from different places, or you can set up group control from one wireless switch for all blinds.

The wireless control will also ensure that the blinds are connected to the scenes so that with one press you can control the lights, blinds, or even the projection screen at the same time.

Take advantage of the really smart blind control functions within the iNELS Wireless Smart Home system

Proof that the switching element for blinds can be really smart is its functions connected to the connection to the wireless Smart Home system. For this, you need a smart gateway in the form of the eLAN-RF-103 system unit or the RF Touch-2 touch control unit.

This integration allows you not only to control the blinds with the help of the iNELS application, but also to transfer the control to other smart home applications, such as HomeKit, Home Assistant, or Google Home, and to use some gadgets, such as voice control, or opening the blinds when you approach the house.

The system features also allow you to link the shutter actuation elements to the iNELS cloud for conditioning or automation based on twilight sensors and even link to a virtual weather forecast so that the shutters retract themselves in the event of strong winds to prevent damage. Even without a weather station!
